01Who we are
PT Mella Paint & Chemicals, Komp. Green Ville Blok AW No.16, Duri Kepa, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta Barat 11510, Indonesia, is the controller of personal data collected through mellapaint.com and our contact channels. This policy is written under Indonesian Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (the PDP Law) and its implementing regulation, Government Regulation No. 33 of 2026.

02Data we collect
Data you give us
- Quotation form: name, WhatsApp number, company name, email (if given), approximate floor area, project location, type of request and message.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: the conversation and any photos, drawings or documents you send.
Data collected automatically
- IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, where the visit came from, and cookie identifiers. Details are in the Cookies Policy.
We do not ask for specific personal data as defined by the PDP Law, such as health, biometric or personal financial data.
03What the data is used for
- Getting back to you about your request.
- Scheduling site surveys, preparing quotations, and carrying out projects or orders.
- Measuring how well our ads work and improving the website.
- Protecting the website and its forms from spam and abuse.
- Meeting legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not use your data for bulk promotional messages, and we do not sell it.
04Legal basis
Under Article 20 of the PDP Law, we process data on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the consent box on the form, fulfilling your request before or during an agreement, meeting legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.
05Who the data is shared with
Data is only available to the Company staff handling your request, and to the service providers that help us run the website:
- Cloudflare, for hosting, form processing and spam protection (Turnstile).
- Resend, for delivering form submissions to our team’s email.
- Google, for Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads.
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you contact us on WhatsApp.
We may also disclose data to competent authorities where the law requires it.
06Transfers outside Indonesia
Some of the providers above process data on servers outside Indonesia. We choose providers with adequate data protection, in line with the rules on cross-border transfers in Article 56 of the PDP Law.
07How long data is kept
Data from enquiries that do not turn into a project is kept for no more than 24 months after the last contact, then deleted. Project and transaction data is kept as long as needed for warranty purposes and for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
08Your rights
Under the PDP Law, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your personal data is processed.
- Access your personal data and obtain a copy.
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask for your personal data to be deleted.
- Withdraw consent you have given.
- Suspend or restrict the processing of your personal data.
Send your request to hi@mellapaint.com from the email address or number you used to contact us. We respond within the time limits set by the PDP Law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
09Data security
The Website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to enquiry data is limited to the staff handling it. If a personal data protection failure occurs, we will notify you and the competent authority in writing within 3 x 24 hours, as the PDP Law requires.
10Children
The Website is intended for facility owners, contractors and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when published on this page, with the date at the top of the page updated.
